Though history plays out similarly, bipedal cats make up civilization.
In this universe, in the near future, the ruler of the United States has overstepped his powers and established a secret police
force known as the Federal Freedoms Commission, abbreviated to the FFC. They obey his command and do not act in the public eye.
They are designed to target political opponents and outcasts of society, who have never fought against them violently.
The FFC has taken this opportunity to start a genocide.
Hundreds of people, being sent en masse to concentration camps where their bodies will be ground into dust to power military vehicles.
In this social climate, a revolution is in order.
Sombra, she/her, Japanese bobtail, naturally talkative once you get to know her but has learned social anxiety from years of being talked over and bullied, mostly because of her small build and mellow personality. Likes medium-sized swords and maces, into breakcore and experimental metal, plays rhythm and sings.
Altar, she/it, resurrected Black Smoke Maine Giant. Died in a car crash at 15, then came back as a result of a failed military experiment with resurrection. Likes to use large swords and other melee weapons, into death metal, plays lead or rhythm.
Slash, she/they, United Kingdom-type Bombay. Comes from an upper-middle class family, who doesn't get along with her well due to her musical career choice, anticapitalist leaning, shy temperament, and greenish eyes. Likes to use daggers or long-ranged weapons, into emo and indie rock, plays bass.
I'm thinking of making this concept into a rhythm-based combat video game, while having more weapon choices and stat-modifying gear.
